A single tree
rises upward,
then, at the tip, is pulled wholly to the right.
The line does not follow the contour.

The sky too flows to one side,
the grass too lies to one side,
and a single bird
is carried on that current.
The person leans forward,
pushing at the horse's back.
A line that does not enclose
but lets things flow.
Within the line the wind has drawn,
everything
endures in one direction.
