모두 따로 있는 듯하지만, 같은 바람 안에 있다.
바람은 보이지 않는다. 그러나 집도, 나무도, 새도 이미 그 방향을 알고 있다.
풍토란 보이지 않는 힘이 한 세계를 함께 살게 하는 일이다.
따로 살아도 같은 바람을 맞는 것. 그것이 한 풍토 안에 산다는 뜻이다.

A single thatched house sits low in the middle of the field. The tree leans to one side,
and a flock of crows circles, filling the sky. On the wooden porch, a person; in the
yard, a horse. They all seem to be apart, yet they are within the same wind. The
wind cannot be seen. But the house, the tree, and the birds already know its
direction. Fūdo is the way an unseen force lets a whole world live together.
