The Sea of Jeju

On a small hillock is an entire household. House and tree, horse and puppy, and a person.

The person bends to greet the smallest one, the tree bends toward the house, and the horse grazes nearby. Everything in the painting bends a little toward the others.

Far off, one boat is still at sea, but this hillock is the warm place it will return to.

Someone returning does not need a large village. Only a small hillock like this, where things wait, bent toward one another.
