언제나 떠난다
섬에서 산다는 것은

매일
매 계절
그러나 떠나는 배를 바라보는 자의
눈빛이 더 멀리 간다
배는 수평선을 넘어 사라지지만
시선은 그 너머에 있다

The boat departs.
It always departs.
To live on an island
is to watch things leave—
every day,
every season.
Yet the eyes of those who watch
the departing boat
travel farther.
The boat disappears beyond the horizon,
but the gaze is already beyond that.
