Leaving Boat
떠나가는 배
The boat departs.
It always departs.
To live on an island
is to watch things leave—
every day,
every season.
Yet the eyes of those who watch
the departing boat
travel farther.
The boat disappears beyond the horizon,
but the gaze is already beyond that.
