Typhoon
태풍
The typhoon comes.
Everything changes.
Trees are laid flat.
The sea turns over.
The sky goes dark.
Yet what is deeply rooted
does not lie down.
Hallasan in a typhoon
is still Hallasan.
So the painter, too—
when the world shook,
he returned to his own roots.

그러나 뿌리 깊은 것들은
눕지 않는다
한라산은 태풍 속에서도
한라산이다
화가도 그랬다

자신의 뿌리로 돌아갔다
