눈이 내린 비원
모든 것이 같은 흰빛이 되는 날
정자도 나무도 연못도
경계를 잃고
다만 함께 하얗다
이것이 평등이다
화가가 말한 것은 아니지만
눈이 내리면
어디가 어디인지 모르게 된다
그래서 더 아름다운 것이
겨울의 비원이었다

Snow has fallen on Biwon.
The day everything becomes the same white.
Pavilion, tree, and pond
lose their boundaries—
together, simply white.
This is equality.
The painter did not say it.
But when snow falls,
you cannot tell what is what.
That is why the winter Biwon
was more beautiful.
