Booyongjeong in Fall
부용정 아래 가을이 내려앉는다
붉은 것과 노란 것이
물 위에 섞인다
어디서 끝나고 어디서 시작하는가
나무인가 그림자인가
물인가 하늘인가
경계가 흐릿한 곳에서
가장 아름다운 것들이 태어난다
가을의 부용정이 그렇고
변시지의 붓이 그렇다

Autumn settles beneath Booyongjeong.
Red and yellow
mingle on the water.
Where does it end and where begin?
Tree or shadow?
Water or sky?
In the place where boundaries blur,
the most beautiful things are born.
