바람이 지나간 길. 바람은 없다. 그러나 바람이 남긴 것들이 있다. 굽어진 나무, 눌린 풀, 색이 바랜 흙. 이 그림은 부재(不在)의 초상이다.
화가는 보이지 않는 것을 그리는 사람이었다. 황토색 하늘과 먹의 선이 만들어내는 공간 속에서, 우리는 바람을 본다. 아직 지나간 적이 없는 바람을.

The path of the passing wind. There is no wind. But there are things the wind left: a bent tree, pressed grass, earth that has lost its color. This painting is a portrait of absence.
The painter was someone who painted the invisible. Within the space created by ochre sky and ink lines, we see the wind — a wind that has never yet passed.
