Wind and Wave
파도는 바람이 만들고
바람은 파도가 강하게 만든다
서로를 밀어붙이는 것들이
서로를 살아있게 한다
화가와 제주 풍토도 그랬다
화가가 제주를 그리고
제주가 화가를 그렸다
둘이 서로를 만들었다

Waves are made by wind.
Wind is made stronger by waves.
The things that push against each other
are the things that keep each other alive.
So it was with the painter and Jeju's fūdo.
The painter painted Jeju.
Jeju painted the painter.
Each made the other.
