Hallasan does not answer.
There are no questions.
It simply is.
The navel of the island.
The starting point of wind.
The home of clouds.
The painter painted Hallasan dozens of times.
The same mountain through different eyes—
each time as if meeting it for the first.
That was Hallasan's way:
by not changing,
to hold everything.
