Paris Notre-Dame

Paris. The European journey.

Before Notre-Dame, the painter could not lift his brush. "Too immense. I don't know where to begin." In that moment he understood: without your own visual language, you can paint nothing.

And he also understood he already had that language. Ochre, ink, wind. Even in this work depicting Notre-Dame, the Jeju eye passes through the Seoul Biwon and lands upon French stone.
