작품 인증Certificate of Authenticity
변시지 재단은 작품 인증 신청을 받습니다. 재단이 발급하는 작품 인증서(COA)는 법적 보증이 아니라 전문가 의견(Opinion)입니다.The Byun Shi-Ji Foundation accepts requests for artwork authentication. The Certificate of Authenticity (COA) issued by the Foundation is a professional opinion, not a legal guarantee.
제출 자료 · 작품 전면·후면·측면 사진, 소장 이력 문서, 상태 보고서(있을 경우), 신청인 증빙서류.
동의 · 신청 시 재단의 ‘작품 인증 정책’과 ‘소송 포기 계약(No-sue Agreement)’에 동의합니다. Required materials · Front, back, and side photographs of the work; provenance documents; condition report (if any); applicant's identification.
Agreement · The applicant agrees to the Foundation's authentication policy and the No-sue Agreement.

인증 절차The Authentication Process

신청서 제출Submit application작품 인증 신청서를 작성하고, 제출 자료(작품 전면·후면·측면 사진, 소장 이력 문서, 상태 보고서, 신청인 증빙서류)와 함께 재단에 제출합니다.Complete the application form and submit it with the required materials: front, back, and side photographs, provenance documents, condition report, and applicant identification.

접수 및 예비 검토Receipt and preliminary review재단이 신청을 접수하고 제출 자료의 완결성을 확인합니다. 자료가 부족하면 보완을 요청합니다.The Foundation receives the application and checks whether the materials are complete, requesting supplements if needed.

전문가 조사Expert examination작품의 양식·재료·서명·소장 이력을 조사합니다. 필요 시 실물 실견(實見)과 과학적 분석을 진행합니다.The style, materials, signature, and provenance of the work are examined. In-person inspection and scientific analysis may be conducted if necessary.

위원회 심의Committee deliberation인증위원회가 조사 결과를 종합해 인증 · 불인증 · 추가 연구 필요 중 하나로 판정합니다.The authentication committee reviews the findings and decides among authentication, non-authentication, or the need for further research.

결과 통보Notification of result심의 결과를 신청인에게 통보합니다. 인증 결과는 전문가 의견(Opinion)이며 법적 보증이 아닙니다.The result is communicated to the applicant. It is a professional opinion, not a legal guarantee.

인증서(COA) 발급Issuance of the COA인증으로 판정된 경우, 재단이 작품 인증서(Certificate of Authenticity)를 발급합니다. 제출된 자료와 분석 데이터는 재단 아카이브에 귀속됩니다.If authenticated, the Foundation issues the Certificate of Authenticity. Submitted materials and analysis data are archived by the Foundation.
