Changdeok Palace

창덕궁

The walls of Changdeok Palace do not divide inside from outside. There are gaps that allow nature to overflow. The painter painted those gaps— the boundary where the royal garden and the commoner's sky meet. A boundary is not something that blocks. It is what allows each side to recognize the other.
